Semi-automatic work station designed to insert bolts into combustion engine block metal pans
The machine is designed to insert a high number of bolts at a time along the perimeter of metal pans of combustion engine blocks
It consists of the following technologies:
- Automatic vibrating hopper to supply bolts with final press fit into the machine working head
- Two types of assembled work pieces of a different shape and number of bolts assigned
- Presence and position control of individual bolts
- Conveyor belt system designed to change jigs and machine parts
- Assembly jig kit designed for a consequent assembly of metal pans on engine blocks
- Siemens control system
- High cyclic rate of the assembly machine
